What coleads are and what they do
Coleads have almost the same rights as the leader, except of demote the leader or promote/demote/kick other coleads.
They can kick members, and in case the team is closed, they can accept or decline join requests.
And they can send invites to members of their friendlist, which are not member of another team.
Coleads can edit the team description, set the entry level and switch the team status between open/close.
We in Racers Universe see the management of the taskboard as an additional duty of (co)leads. It is important to keep the taskboard moving, at least as far as the 6 city tasks are involved.
A moving board means easier access to new tasks for all members, what results in more points to the team. You need to identify what blocks the board, then resolve the block, usually by removing blocking tasks from the board.
Coleads can delete a task directly from the board, advantage is that this task is not counted against their task quota. Disadvantage is that you get a wait time before the new task is shown. The duration of this wait increases as more tasks you delete during a day and might become up to 2 hrs. Take care that you only have at most 2 tasks in wait state.
The other way to delete a task is to accept the task and then directly delete it. Everyone can do that, advantage is you have no wait time, disadvantage is that task counts against your task quota. So if you plan to go for max tasks, you should not use this method.
There are some rules to decide which task(s) you delete. Look at impossible tasks, like 13 peaches. Remove the long-running tasks like islands or some plants which need hours to grow and leave short-running tasks like feeding, mining, helicopter missons or train load. If in doubt, ask the team. If no long-running tasks are to be removed, delete the low-valued, they arent that popular.
In case you are interested in a colead position, here are the main criteria:
